The Sardis project is an international operation, including staff from across the United States, Europe, and Turkey. Expedition members, professionals, and students from a variety of institutions and disciplines, come together to work collaboratively and learn from each other. The Sardis Expedition is known for its simple, but comfortable living arrangements and its collegial atmosphere. The work of the expedition is published in final reports and monographs, edited by Kathy Kiefer, working closely with the authors, architects, draftsman, and photographers.
