Science in the News (www.sitnboston.org) is an evening seminar series
aimed at explaining and discussing today's most pressing scientific topics with members of the general public. Science in the News,
sponsored by the Harvard Medical School, is organized and taught by Harvard Biology Ph.D. students.
States Boehm, program presenters will define what a genetically modified food really is, describe the genetically
modified foods that are currently available to American consumers, and discuss ethical issues associated with genetically modifying food.
