Jack Megan, director of Harvard's Office for the Arts introduces Harvard's annual ARTS FIRST celebration. ARTS FIRST presents more than two hundred music, theatre, dance, and visual arts events. Celebrating all kinds of creative activity, ARTS FIRST features performances at venues large and small, indoors and out, including Harvard Yard, Sanders Theatre, the Harvard Museums, and the undergraduate houses. Sponsored by the Harvard Board of Overseers and instigated by former Overseer and Emmy-award winning actor John Lithgow '67, ARTS FIRST features individual performers and artists, as well as student arts organizations.
