Question: Has market research been done on the impact of the prime time taped coverage if events were shown live on other channels? Does the impact of the Internet, which publicizes the results instantaneously, negate traditional reasons for not showing the events live?

Question: I'm often disappointed when watching the Olympics; the only event that will get covered is an event where a US crew wins a medal. But there are US crews in the other events that are equally exciting and interesting. It seems to me the focus is much to much just on medal winning.

Question: The original sentiment of the Olympics was to break down national barriers and promote peace. What's happened to that sentiment? Because now it strikes me that the sentiment is antagonistic, one nation versus the other.

Question: There are so many encouraging moments in the events of non-American athletes. Do you think NBC's going to make a greater effort to showcase this? If you have been to the Olympics, the spirit of peace and cooperation that you get at the games doesn't seem to come across to on TV. Is there a way to do this on television?

Question: The individual and inspirational interests seem to contradict with the international money interests. If you keep in mind and value the individual stories, can you speak to continuing to broadcast national medal counts? It seems anachronistic, as if from the cold war era.

Question: There are some sports I'd like to see in their entirety and some I don't want to see at all. I'm wondering why all the events can't be put up on the Internet in their entirety for download, maybe even a week after the games are over and for a fee?
