The Harvard Alumni Association in partnership with the Harvard
Varsity Club present Harvard in the Olympics. More than 130
Harvard Alumni have competed in the Olympics Games since 1896. For the first time, the
Harvard Alumni Association and the Harvard Varsity Club have convened a group of Alumni to
talk about their personal experiences as athletes, coaches, and administrators of the Olympics.
The program will begin with an educational forum highlighting the Olympics Games and
continue with Harvard Alumni speaking on training, competing, and planning for the Games.
Welcome and Opening Keynote
Mr. Reardon Jr. welcomes the atendees to the panel discussion while Dr. Nagy talks about the history of modern Olympics.
The Olympic Experience
Athletes from previous Olympics talk about the various aspects the Olympics experience.
Training and Commitment Introduction

Past Olympians talk about the training and commitment needed to participate in the Olympics.
