Aida Causevic presents the "Blending Borders:
Impact of 9/11 on Immigration Regulations" and introduces the
panelists. Jim Ziglar was a former Commissioner of the U.S. Bureau
of Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) during 9/11 with 15
years of experience working for the government and another 20 years
of experience in the private sector. Ali Noorani is the Executive
Director of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy
Coalition (MIRA), which works to protect the rights of immigrants in
Massachusetts. Bo Cooper is the former General Counsel of the INS
and has advised several executive agencies as well as Congress on
matters of immigration.
