About This Program

Professor Andrew Strominger presented a lecture on the connection between string theory and black holes as part of the Science Center Research Lecture Series. The Science Center Research Lecture Series, designed for interested laypersons, is free and open to the public. Initiated in 1973, the Public Research Lecture Series is an opportunity for faculty members at Harvard to present their scientific research and innovations in terms accessible to a non-professional audience. The series offers approximately six lectures per year.
