What is a podcast and how do I subscribe to it?

Like a broadcast, a podcast is a "feed" of audio and/or video content. To receive a broadcast, you need a television or radio; to receive a podcast, you need a special type of software called a podcast receiver or podcast client. Popular podcast receivers include iTunes or Juice.

Your podcast receiver can subscribe to a podcast to automatically download programs as they become available. You can then enjoy those podcasts on your computer or transfer them to an iPod or another device.
